Zamioculcas zamiifolia ‘Lima’, commonly known as the ZZ Plant ‘Lima’, is a compact variety of the classic ZZ Plant, featuring fresh lime-green glossy foliage and a naturally upright, architectural growth habit. Exceptionally hardy and low maintenance, it's one of the easiest houseplants to care for, making it perfect for homes, offices, and beginners.

Low watering. Allow the compost to dry out completely between waterings. The thick underground rhizomes store water, making this plant highly drought tolerant. Reduce watering significantly during winter.
SOIL
Free-draining houseplant compost with added perlite to improve drainage. A cactus or succulent mix also works well.
REPOT
Repot every 2–3 years in spring or when rootbound. Move up one pot size only. ZZ Plants prefer to be slightly pot-bound.

Less is more with watering. If you're unsure whether it needs a drink, leave it another few days. Bright, indirect light helps maintain the vibrant lime-green foliage, although it will happily tolerate lower light levels.
COMMON MISTAKE
Most people damage this plant by overwatering. The rhizomes store plenty of water, so constantly damp compost quickly leads to root rot.
