Plant Description
Description
Terrarium, commonly known as a Glass Ecosystem, is a self-contained miniature plant environment designed to recycle moisture and create its own microclimate. Planted with humidity-loving species, terrariums are low maintenance when positioned correctly and left undisturbed.

WATER
Very low watering. Most closed terrariums need little to no watering for weeks or even months. If heavy condensation forms constantly, remove the lid temporarily to allow excess moisture to escape.
SOIL
Layered terrarium system including drainage layer, activated charcoal, and specialist compost to maintain balance and prevent stagnation.
REPOT
Not required. Terrariums are designed to remain planted long term. Plants are trimmed rather than repotted.

JOE'S TOP TIP
Less interference equals better results. Terrariums thrive when left alone rather than adjusted constantly.
COMMON MISTAKE
Most people damage terrariums by overwatering or placing them in direct sunlight.
