Description
Monstera adansonii, commonly known as the Swiss Cheese Plant or Monkey Leaf, is a fast-growing tropical climber loved for its distinctive heart-shaped leaves with natural holes (fenestrations). Whether allowed to trail from a shelf or climb a moss pole, it brings an instant jungle feel to any indoor space and rewards good care with larger, more dramatic foliage.

LIGHT

WATER
Moderate watering. Allow the top few centimetres of soil to dry out between waterings. Keep the compost lightly moist but never waterlogged.
SOIL
Free-draining aroid mix made from houseplant compost, orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir for excellent airflow and drainage.
REPOT
Repot every 1â2 years in spring or when rootbound. Move up one pot size only. Add a moss pole if you want larger leaves and stronger growth.
