Water
Low to moderate watering. Allow the top half of the compost to dry out between waterings. Its thick leaves and stems store moisture, so it copes much better with being slightly too dry than being overwatered.
Soil
Free-draining houseplant compost with added perlite and a little orchid bark to provide good drainage and airflow around the roots.
Repot
Repot every 2â3 years in spring or when noticeably rootbound. Move up only one pot size at a time. Peperomias generally prefer being slightly pot-bound.

Place it somewhere with plenty of bright, indirect light for strong, compact growth. Allow the compost to dry properly before watering again and avoid putting it into an oversized pot, as excess wet compost can cause root problems.

Overwatering. The thick, fleshy foliage stores plenty of moisture, and constantly damp compost can quickly lead to root or stem rot.
