Calluna vulgaris ‘Beauty Ladies Twins’, commonly known as Trio-Colour Heather, is a compact evergreen outdoor plant featuring two complementary flower colours planted together in one pot. Its dense foliage and masses of colourful flower buds provide excellent late-summer and autumn interest, making it perfect for containers, borders, window boxes and seasonal displays.

Moderate watering. Keep the compost consistently moist while establishing, particularly when grown in containers. Don't allow the root ball to completely dry out, but avoid permanently waterlogged conditions.

Acidic, free-draining soil or ericaceous compost. Calluna prefers acidic growing conditions and can struggle in strongly alkaline or chalky soils.
REPOT

Plant your Heather somewhere sunny with acidic, well-draining soil. If you're unsure about your garden soil, growing it in a container filled with ericaceous compost is the easiest option. A light trim after flowering helps maintain its compact, bushy shape.
COMMON MISTAKE
Planting it into unsuitable alkaline soil or allowing a small container to completely dry out. Heather might look rugged enough to survive the apocalypse, but its roots remain surprisingly particular about where they live.
