JOE'S TOP TIP

Position your Fairy Tale Cactus somewhere with plenty of bright light, ideally on a south-facing or west-facing windowsill. Introduce strong direct sunlight gradually to avoid scorching. During winter in the UK, keep the plant in a bright position, protected from frost and prolonged damp conditions. Maintain good airflow around the plant and avoid placing it directly against cold window glass.

⚠️

COMMON MISTAKE

Overwatering during autumn and winter. Fairy Tale Cactus stores moisture within its stems and requires its compost to dry completely between waterings. Constantly damp compost can lead to root and stem rot. Insufficient light can also cause weak, stretched growth.
