JOE'S TOP TIP

Position your Echeveria somewhere with plenty of bright light and several hours of gentle direct sunlight to encourage compact growth and stronger leaf colouring. Introduce direct sunlight gradually to prevent scorching, particularly if the plant has previously been grown in lower light. Keep the plant in a well-ventilated position and protect it from frost.

⚠️

COMMON MISTAKE

Most people damage this plant by overwatering or planting it in compost that stays wet for too long.

PLANT FACT

Echeverias grow in a rosette formation, with new leaves developing from the centre while older leaves gradually age around the base. Many varieties develop stronger pink or red colouring when exposed to brighter light and suitable growing conditions.
