Moderate watering. Keep the compost lightly and consistently moist, but never waterlogged. Allow the surface to dry slightly between waterings. Rainwater or filtered water is ideal, as this plant can be sensitive to minerals found in tap water.
SOIL
Moisture-retentive but free-draining houseplant compost with added perlite and orchid bark to provide good drainage and airflow around the roots.
REPOT
Repot every 1â2 years in spring or when noticeably rootbound. Move up only one pot size at a time and avoid disturbing the roots unnecessarily.

Humidity and consistent watering are the secret to keeping a Rattlesnake Plant looking its best. A bright bathroom can be an excellent position. Keep it away from radiators, cold draughts, and harsh direct sunlight.
COMMON MISTAKE
Allowing the compost to completely dry out or keeping the plant in very dry air. Both can quickly result in curled leaves and crispy brown edges.
