Water
Very low watering. Allow the compost to dry out completely between waterings. During leaf replacement (usually autumn to spring), avoid watering until the old leaves have fully dried and the new pair has emerged.
Soil
Very free-draining cactus or succulent compost with added grit, sand, or pumice. Excellent drainage is essential.
Repot
Repot every 3â4 years or when the pot becomes crowded. Use a shallow pot with excellent drainage and disturb the roots as little as possible.
