Aechmea ‘Primera’, commonly known as the Urn Plant, is a bold tropical bromeliad featuring arching, often slightly banded leaves forming a central “urn,” topped with a striking long-lasting flower spike. It’s a statement plant that brings colour and structure with very little effort.

Empty and refill the central urn every couple of weeks. Clean water equals happy plant. Even bromeliads appreciate basic hygiene.

Letting water sit stagnant in the urn or overwatering the soil. Both usually lead to rot.
